When Journey’s mother abandon’s her and her father is killed due to drug activity who will be left to raise her, so she doesn’t fall into the same street traps and repeats the cycle. Journey goes from being an A student to being disruptive and skipping classes and longing for family connection. As she slips through the cracks of her life will the community leave Journey to fend for herself or will the streets take her in.
