Life is hard enough as a young black woman but being HIV positive is an added complexity when Justice starts to navigate through college during her freshmen year. Justice’s dramatic best friend Mia vows to help her steer through it all until she finds herself being unable to determine her boyfriend’s true motives in the bedroom. To make matters more complicated Justice meets Ashton who brings up unanswered questions from her parents’ past. YBAS 2 focuses on maneuvering through life with HIV and deciding if you are more than the disease.
